COMMUNICATION TOWER LAUNCH IN NGABWE LUFUBU CONSTITUENCY IN CENTRAL PROVINCE -7th September 2025
The residents of Ngabwe, Lufubu Constituency, located in Chief Munkumbwe’s Chiefdom in Zambia’s Central Province, have started reaping benefits from the construction and launch of a telecommunication tower. This development will enhance connectivity, bridge the digital divide, foster economic growth, and integrate sustainable infrastructure to meet the demands of modern technologies.
Key Benefits of Telecommunication Towers
1. Improved Network Coverage
Telecommunication towers extend wireless signals across wide areas, ensuring residents have uninterrupted access to calls, messaging, and internet services. Their strategic placement maximizes coverage across the constituency.
2. Increased Network Capacity
Rising mobile phone usage often congests networks, resulting in poor speeds and dropped calls. Towers boost network capacity, enabling faster internet, reliable calls, and seamless communication even during peak usage.
3. Reliable Emergency Communications
In times of crisis, towers facilitate swift communication between emergency services and affected communities. With resilience to harsh weather and backup power systems, they remain functional during power outages.
4. Connectivity for Remote Areas
Remote and underserved communities gain access to dependable network services through towers. This allows residents to stay connected to opportunities, resources, and loved ones outside their immediate environment.
